The Stillwater Concert Band is the third ensemble in the Stillwater Band Program.  It is an auditioned ensemble  that is open  to grades 9-12.  

In this ensemble, students study a wide variety music, from classical to jazz.  While a concert band at its core, it is made up of a jazz band and  several chamber ensembles that allow students to personalize their musical study.  All rehearsals occur inside the school .

The Concert Band  performs throughout the year in the community and at state contests.  The typical concert year includes the Stillwater Bands “Kaleidoscope Concert,” “Holiday Concerts,”  solo/ensemble contest, the Young Band Festival and our Spring concert. Symphonic Band Members may also participate in the jazz program, pep band and chamber music.

In the 2021-2022 school year, this ensemble will have additional opportunities for travel and performance. Members of this ensemble will have opportunity to travel as an ensemble in the spring of 2022 to Chicago.  You will also be invited to be a part of our 2022 Summer Concert Band Tour.  Details for both opportunities will be announced in early March of 2021.

Auditions for incoming incoming 8th graders  will be held March 15-19.
