Concert Dress/Tux Fittings
Dresses and tuxes will be fit this week at the HS for both the Wind Ensemble and The Wind Symphony. Those students wishing to shop our used concerts dresses and tuxes will be able to do so on Tuesday. Supply of used concert wear is limited and is sold on a first come, first serve basis. Used tuxes will be sold for $100. Used dresses will be sold for $35.
Fitting for new tuxes and dresses will occur on Wednesday. All payments for new concert dresses and tuxes must be paid before fittings will occur. They are available on Fee Pay. Students missing a tux fitting on wednesday will have to go to Savvi to be fit at the store.
New tux orders are custom fit by Savvi Formalware. All new dresses come unhemmed.
Students are responsible for any altering needed.
Skyward gradebooks should be up to date pertaining to the first semester.
We are introducing the new Smart Music to all of our students this week. It is an amazing program that allows students to practice better. The new cloud based format also allows you to access it from any computer, ipad or chromebook.

Rehearsals will start this week. Students should log on to their Schoology group page for details. A reminder that the Jazz Parent’s Concert is Thursday, September 28 at 7:00 PM.
Our annual Music Department Rummage Sale is a fantastic fundraiser for our program. However, IT REALLY DEPENDS ON YOU! Here are the two ways you can help.
DONATIONS – We really need your donations to make this sale successful. Next weekend, on Sunday, September 17, we will be taking in donations at the Washington County Fair Grounds (Buildings C and D) from 1 until 5 PM. We will be looking for quality items for resale as well as donations for recycling. Please see the attached flyer for guidelines.
PARENT VOLUNTEERS – This sale runs on the idea that “many hands make small work”. We have a wonderful parent committee who organizes the sale. However, we need the extra adult hands to help us during all phases of the sale. If you are interested in being a parent volunteer, please sign up at the link below.
