IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE – Kaleidoscope Concerts moved to October 7, 6:30 and 8:00 PM.

To all musicians and families of the SAHS Bands,

The scheduling of activities at SAHS is a serious process that tries to eliminate conflicts for our students.  Every spring, the Fine Arts Department meets several times with the Activities Director to establish a schedule for our performance calendar that coordinates the use of our busy performance spaces while allowing our students to participate in activities with limited conflict. This is a complex process that takes into account the myriad of performances at the SAHS auditorium and the busy schedules of the nearly 950 students involved in the performing arts at SAHS.

Unfortunately, the previously selected date of October 3 for our Kaleidoscope Concerts now has too many conflicts with other athletic activities.  To ease these issues, we have moved the concerts to Monday. October 7 at 6:30 and 8:00 PM. While this solution is not ideal, it does eliminate issues for over twenty percent of our student musicians. 

All of the schedules and class syllabi have now been updated. Those of you using our google calendar might have already seen the update.  Please take the time to make sure all of your calendars now reflect this change.
