We depart Jackson for the “Big Easy”! It is only a couple hours. First stop the French Quarter for lunch and our first concert in Nola at the Algiers Point Senior Facility. Thee we met a former Marine Band horn player. Lots of fun!!!

We also had free time in the French Quarter and saw Bicycle Race! A little music history with Freddy Mercury! NOLA has such a rich musical culture! Happy pride month, everyone! 🏳️‍🌈

After the concert, we got some free time….even saw a Bicycle Race…..aka Freddie Mercury! Music history abounds in NOLA, especially during June! 🏳️‍🌈

Dinner at Mulate’s was full of dancing in fun. It was a great intro to New Orleans!
